At least 4,400 Venezuelans have been stranded for four months in 11 countries due to air restrictions amid the coronavirus pandemic. They demand the authorization of special flights that allow them to return to Caracas, as they no longer have the means to support themselves. Around 500 of them are in Spain. Despite having a ticket, they have not been able to fly to their country, since Venezuela suspended air operations until July 12 and it is unknown if it could extend the measure due to the increase in cases of COVID-19.
