Starting this Wednesday, October 27, the non-profit organization Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VOC) and the Art Museum of the Americas of the Organization of American States (OAS) will be presenting an exhibition of photos that capture the realities from Venezuela and Cuba. The exhibition, which will be open until November 14, will hold a reception on Tuesday, November 2 at 5:00 pm.
With dozens of striking images captured by contemporary photographers, this exhibition divided into two sections, “Venezuela Resiste, Images de la Debacle” and “El Ropaje del Silencio: Exhibition of Contemporary Cuban Art”, captures the reality in which ordinary citizens live in Venezuela and Cuba.

Warm Rain is an extension of Silvana’s previous project, Venezuelan Youth. In this second chapter, Silvana captures three families who collaborated to work with her in the long-term. Each family represents a different reality to contemporary Venezuela, however, they are all equally affected by the challenges that the South American country has been facing in the last years.
