Today, at the International Donors’ Conference in Solidarity with Venezuelan Refugees and Migrants the European Commission pledged €147 million, in addition to pledges by EU Member States, for immediate humanitarian assistance, medium and longer-term development assistance and conflict prevention interventions for Venezuelan refugees, migrants and host communities. So it also prohibits the presence of independent international aid organizations, which are unable to work officially on the ground.
