In the report on foreign population in Chile, prepared by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), the National Migration Service, the International Police and the Foreign Ministry, Venezuela is identified as the origin of the majority group of foreigners living in that country (December 20202).
The population of foreigners in Chile went from 1,450,333 in 2019 to 1,462,103 in 2020, an increase of 0.8%. And of these, Venezuelans make up 30.7% of the total; then there are people from Peru (16.3%), Haiti (12.5%), Colombia (11.4%) and Bolivia (8.5%). By OnVenezuela
