An international team of ornithologists rediscovered during an expedition in the Turimiquire region, located in northeastern Venezuela, a rare and seldom observed species of bird. This is the Paria flycatcher (‘Phyllomyias urichi’), a bird so elusive that, since it was first described in 1899, only other two sightings, in 1940 and the last of them in 2005.
