The US ambassador to the United Nations (UN), Linda Thomas-Greenfield, in a meeting with Venezuelan opposition politicians Leopoldo López and Julio Borges, confirmed that Washington would support a “negotiated solution” to the political situation of Venezuela. The meeting took place on Monday night in Ecuador, where Thomas-Greenfield, as well as Borges and López attended the swearing-in of Guillermo Lasso as Ecuadorian president. By OnVenezuela
