The International Criminal Court (ICC) has just rejected i the challenge that the Nicolás Maduro regime had made on the investigation that that prosecutor’s office had initiated into the commission of crimes against humanity under the mandate of the Venezuelan dictator. The preliminary resolution, dated July 2, but made public on July 5, will be complete as of July 21, the day on which the deadline for Venezuela to present its arguments to complete the ruling and advance the formal accusation expires.
